Thanksgiving with Granna and Bubba

We had a great Thanksgiving with Granna and Bubba! It was a smaller group this year than normal but it was still super fun and relaxing! Granna's Thanksgiving is all out incredible food! No fewer than 10 dishes to choose from for the big meal and that doesn't include dessert!!! This year we came to town on Wednesday and left Sunday so she had 4 other days to fill us with food too! And like I mentioned, this year was a much smaller scale...a more typical Thanksgiving includes many other mouths to feed and sometimes additional days too! Whew, it makes me tired just thinking about it! When I say it's relaxing, it's relaxing for me...definitely not Granna! She loves it though...I hope! :-)

Their neighbors had a truckload of dirt delivered to fill some low patches in their yard...it was just too tempting to stay away from and provided for several hours of entertainment, followed by an immediate hose down outside!
This was a priceless moment when RJ walked up to Bubba, book in hand, and crawled into his lap ready for him to read Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear...he gladly obliged: Hottub time is always a favorite:
Connor, Luke, Unlce Brian and Aunt Jennifer came Saturday evening after spending the holiday with her family. The boys were so excited to have a night with their cousins.
And of course, we had to capitalize on a chance to showcase the Christmas jammies Granna got for them all too!
