Arranged Marriages :-)

We got to visit our good friends the Tweedy's this weekend and had an incredible time...as always! We TREASURE our time with them any time we are together. The last time the 10 (yikes!) of us were together was at Snow Mountain Ranch, 4 months ago! Between the 2 familes, we have decided we have 3 arranged marriages! Their 2 oldest children are each a year older than Will and Grady, and they are both girls. And their sweet baby boy is 3 days younger than RJ...how perfect is that?!?! So we've got our work cut out for us to get these 6 kids to fall in love with each other but it sure would make it fun and easy for the parents!!! :-) The children absolutely LOVE playing together and it has been so fun to watch their dynamics grow as they do! Anna and Becca are 100% girl just like Will and Grady are 100% boy. The girls LOVE their dress up dresses and imaginary play and usually make it through at least 3 changes of clothes in the course of a few hours. The boys are just mesmerized by watching them in "their worlds" and of course love the toys that they don't ever see at our house! While I say A and B are 100% girl, they'll ride their scooters and jump on their trampoline with the best of them. It's just hilarious to see them all together. Will and Anna are cut from the same rule-following, curly-headed, olive skinned mold, and Becca and Grady are cut from the same march to their own beat, independent mold. Christopher and RJ are still a little young to tell but it sure seems that he is going to be ALL boy...frequently shocking his mommy with how dirty and physical he is (which of course I LOVE to see/hear about) while RJ is so much more deliberate and calculated about all that she does.

"Daddy, who IS this boy trying to put the moves on me?!?!"

Anna, the big Kindergartner, teaching school to her students:
Grady, taking over, reading the Bible to his students, who have found other things to do...as I said, Mr. Independent!
RJ perfecting her raspberry skills:
Making s'mores in the chiminea
One of our favorite pasttimes from Colorado...dancing to Mr. Chris' tunes on the guitar:

The babies, kicking back with a Baby Einstein, waiting for their turn in the bath:

We are DONE with this!!!!!Ahhhhhhh...bath time with my buddy!

Perfect time to hold hands...
